Calm, client-centred brand identity for a Mackay psychology practice
Branding for a Holistic Psychology Practice- Sage Holistic Psychology
The brief
Sage Holistic Psychology, based in Mackay, QLD, needed a brand as gentle as their approach to care. They wanted an identity that felt soft, warm and inviting, reflecting their holistic, client-centred philosophy, without losing the professionalism and credibility clients expect from a psychology practice. The challenge was striking that balance: calming enough to reassure someone reaching out for support, grounded enough to build trust from the very first interaction.
The approach
We built the identity around the idea at the heart of the practice: the connection between nature and mind. That concept shaped every decision, from the hand-drawn logo to the calming palette, so the brand would feel emotionally safe while still reading as clearly professional.
What we created
A complete psychology brand identity system, designed for consistency and trust across every client touchpoint:
Logo: hand-drawn sage leaves subtly shaped to evoke the human brain, symbolising the integration of nature and mind that defines the practice's holistic approach
Colour palette: warm, calming tones that create a sense of emotional safety while staying grounded and professional
Typography: clear and readable, with a soft, approachable character that reinforces the supportive tone
Business cards & print collateral: consistent, professional materials that strengthen recognition across physical touchpoints
Foundational brand identity system: every element brought together into one cohesive visual language, ready to carry across website, marketing and client interactions
The result
Sage Holistic Psychology now has a calm, trustworthy and distinctly professional brand that reflects exactly how they care for their clients. The cohesive identity builds credibility, deepens emotional connection, and helps the practice attract the clients who value a gentle, holistic approach — reassuring people from the moment they first encounter the brand.
